LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Stephens College senior Emma Angel has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NAIA Second-Team All-Region, marking a significant milestone in her standout collegiate career.
The announcement was made Friday as the NFCA unveiled its 2025 NAIA All-Region teams, recognizing 150 student-athletes from 66 programs across the country. Angel, a senior infielder for the Stars, was among the top athletes selected from Region V, solidifying her reputation as one of the premier players in the NAIA.
The NAIA All-Region awards are determined by NFCA member head coaches who nominate and vote within their respective regions. Players of the Year and Pitchers of the Year are added to the second team if not already selected, provided they were nominated and received votes.
Angel's selection places her in elite company and advances her to consideration for the 2025 NFCA NAIA All-America teams, which will be announced June 5.
The NFCA, a leading professional organization for fastpitch softball coaches, recognizes top athletes nationwide through its All-Region and All-America awards. The organization also supports coaches through education, events, and development opportunities.
