John & Mary Silverthorne Arena
107 Dorsey Street, Columbia, MO 65215
Silverthorne Arena is home to the Stephens volleyball, basketball and competitive dance teams. The Arena features a seating capacity of 300 with bleachers on the east side of the building. During the summer of 2013, Silverthorne underwent its first renovation since opening the doors in 1998. The playing surface was refinished and final touches were applied including an SC logo at center court and new markings to keep the gym up to date. At the same time, the court was renamed to Deb Duren Court as a tribute to the Stars’ first and current Athletic Director.

Battle High School Softball Field
Battle Avenue | Columbia, MO 65202
Without a softball facility on campus, the Athletics Department has partnered up with Columbia Public Schools and Battle High School to make Battle Softball Field the new home of the Stars. A part of Battle High School's state-of-the-art sports complex, the softball field was built in 2013 and is complete with natural turf, lights, covered dugouts, tarping capabilities, bleachers and public restrooms. When weather doesn't cooperate, the Stars have access to an indoor hitting facility in the basement of Stamper Commons as well as practice space at Silverthorne Arena. In addition to Battle High School softball games, the site also played host to the 2014 NJCAA Regional Softball Championships and Show-Me State Games.
