Stephens College

Nathan Davis served as Interim Head Coach for the Stars volleyball team during the 2021 season. The Stars had a memorable season with multiple program records broken and six different players earning All-AMC honors. 

Davis currently also serves as the Sports Information Director, taking over the role full-time in May of 2021. Since his start, Davis has implemented and designed a new athletic website, a new live-stream service with Blueframe, new graphics partnership, and assisted in the procurement of a new partnership with Show-Me Sports Network for the broadcasting of the Stars' home events.

Davis brings credible experience to Stephens College. Before Stephens, he served as an Assistant Coach at Dakota State University and helped set five program records in his lone year at DSU; he most notably helped DSU to reach the NAIA National Tournament for the first time ever. 

Davis obtained his Masters of Sports Management from Missouri Baptist University where he served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the men's (2 seasons) and women's (1 season) teams. During his time at MBU, the Spartan men's team collected a record of 58-3 and reached the final four of the NAIA National Tournament twice. With the women's team, they finished with a 33-6 mark and finished the season ranked in the top 10. 

Davis played volleyball collegiately at Hannibal-LaGrange University where he worked with the Sports Information Director for almost two years. Completing an internship in the athletic department at HLGU, Davis worked closely with the SID and the Athletic Director.
