St. Louis, MO - The Stephens Stars traveled to St. Louis, MO on Saturday to take on the surging Spartans of Missouri Baptist University. The Spartans got on the board first as a shot from the offense found its way past the Stars' defense and into the back of the net at the 32nd minute mark; then again, at the 50th minute mark, the Spartans offense converted to push their lead to 2-0. Stephens' offense kept pace with the Spartans for the remainder of the game as both teams finished with nine team shots.
