Columbia, MO - The Stephens College soccer team traveled across town to Columbia College to take on the #13 nationally ranked Cougars. The Cougars kept the offensive pressure on the Stars for the whole match as they shot 13 times on goal. The first Cougar goal came at the end of the first half as a buildup play from the Cougars ended with a goal to put them in the lead, 1-0. It wasn't until late in the second half that Columbia converted on a fast-break to push their lead to 2-0; which held as the Cougars would win the match 2-0.
