Columbia, MO - The Stephens Stars took on the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange University on Saturday in an AMC conference matchup. Looking to get back in the win column, the Stars came out energized and ready to go. Taking a 15-11 lead into the second quarter, the Stars' defense caused fits for the visiting team as they held the Trojans to just five points in the second quarter, taking a 28-16 lead into halftime.
The Trojans came out in the third and fought hard to close the gap, but the Stars still lead 45-30 going into the fourth. The Stars defense once again proved to be too much for the Trojans, holding them to five points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 56-35 victory.
