Stars pull out a close game in the Freed-Hardeman Classic against Oakland University Friday afternoon.
The junior trio that led Stars to victory against Benedictine show up again today against the Ambassadors of Oakland University. Alayasia Douglas goes big for the Stars on the free throw line going 11 for 14. Douglas ends the game with 19 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Zaraya March leads the team with 21 points, 17 rebounds and 5 steals.
Marveen Ross also puts up 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Senior
Allison Moore, who led her team in 3 point goals by more than double during the 21-22 season, hit four 3 point shots, making up a majority of her 20 points overall.
"We have to be more consistent with our execution, mindset and system" Coach Bell states after the close win, "As a defensive coach, giving up 82 points isn't a good thing. Every win is to be cherished, but we have to get better."

Tashawn Ducker extends the Stars' lead by 6 with a 3-pointer with 3 minutes left in the match.
Stars tip-off tomorrow, November 5th, at 5pm against host team Freed-Hardeman.
