Mia Morel's layup after winning the jump ball. However, SEMO swiftly responded, leveling the score with a 3-pointer and taking the lead.
Despite a promising start, the Stars found themselves trailing by six points at the end of the first quarter (15-21). The second quarter showcased the Stars' resilience, with Alayasisa Douglas contributing significantly. However, SEMO maintained their lead, leading 29-39 at halftime.
Entering the third quarter down by 12 points (46-58), the Stars demonstrated determination to narrow the gap. The final quarter featured an exciting twist with
