Macomb, Ill.- The Stars faced the Leathernecks in an exhibition game, resulting in a final score of 51-80 in favor of Western Illinois University. The game started with the Stars trailing, but Mia Morel's 3-pointer helped them get on the board.
In the second quarter, the Stars showcased their offensive skills, with Morel making another 3-pointer. Chu Crockett contributed with a successful layup, and Lauren Friedrich displayed her 3-point prowess from the bench.
Aushara Hostetler made a notable impact in the third quarter, hitting a good 3-pointer right off the bench, closing the gap to 28-36. However, despite the Stars' efforts, the WIU Leathernecks secured the win.
