Columbia, MO - Stephens College volleyball closed out its home schedule in dominant fashion Friday night, sweeping Central Baptist in straight sets (25-8, 25-19, 25-14) inside Silverthorne Arena.
The Stars set the tone early with a commanding first set, holding the Mustangs to just eight points behind sharp serving and relentless net pressure. Stephens' offense stayed in rhythm throughout the match, hitting .328 as a team while limiting errors and keeping momentum on their side.
Lena Hunziker led the way with 17 kills on an impressive .366 hitting percentage, followed closely by Amari Branch-Autman, who tallied 12 kills and four total blocks. Cagla Aslan added eight kills and two blocks, while setter Emma Whitson ran a balanced attack with 37 assists and a team-high 15 digs.
Stephens controlled each phase of the match—posting six service aces, eight total blocks, and 67 digs as a team. The win improved the Stars to 23-11 overall and 15-1 in AMC play, reinforcing their position among the conference's top programs heading into postseason play.
