Stephens College

Paz has recently joined Stephens Stars Athletics as an Assistant Softball Coach in the spring of 2024.

Originally from San Diego, she played club softball for notable teams like San Diego Power Surge, So Cal Athletics (Myers/McNee), and Firecrackers before earning an athletic scholarship to Missouri Valley College. Paz graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology.

Transitioning to coaching in 2021, Paz started as the Assistant Coach for Missouri So Cal Athletics 18u and continued with the club through its merger with Iowa Premier Fastpitch. Currently serving as the Head Coach for Iowa Premier 14u National, Paz attributes her softball knowledge to her upbringing and acknowledges the guidance received from Coach Greg Dickel.

Excited about joining Stephens College Softball, Paz looks forward to working with Coach Poulsen and the staff to instill a winning culture in the program. Both Paz and Coach Poulsen share the enthusiasm for taking the Stephens College Softball program to new heights, and she is eager to contribute to this journey.
