Columbia, MO - The Stephens Stars played host to the Statesmen of William Penn University. After a back-and-forth offensive battle through 90 minutes, the match played into overtime. On a fast break through the defense, Anya Castelli (JR/Wildwood, MO) was fouled inside the box, giving the Stars a penalty-shot and a chance to end the game. Calm and collected on the line, Castelli tucked the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal, earning the 1-0 victory over WPU.
