North Newton, KS - The Stephens Stars were on the road to compete against the Bethel College Threshers in their last non-conference contest. After an early goal from Bethel put them up 1-0, Anya Castelli (JR/Wildwood, MO) brought the Stars even with a goal just before the 45th minute mark. The Threshers came out strong in the second half, scoring three goals to extend their lead to 4-1. Olivia Wheeler (SO/Springfield, MO) was able to find the back of the net at the 76 minute mark, followed shortly after by another goal from Anya Castelli to close the gap to 3-4. Ultimately, time would expire with the Threshers holding on to the lead 4-3.
