Volleyball Thrashes Patriots, Earn Second Straight Sweep

Springfield, MO - The Stephens Stars traveled to Springfield, MO to take on the Patriots of Baptist Bible College. After an 8-0 early lead in the first set, the Stars cruised to a 25-5 first set victory. The Patriots battled hard in set two; up 8-6, the Stars used a six-point scoring run to open their lead and eventually close out the set, 25-12. The third set followed suit with the Stars taking an early 14-5 lead before winning the final set 25-13.
