Columbia, MO - The Stephens basketball team traveled to Hannibal-LaGrange University to take on the Trojans in an AMC matchup. The Stars were in need of a win to keep their chances of hosting an AMC first round match alive.
The Stars took an early 13-8 lead after the first quarter, but the Trojan offense came alive in the second quarter to cut the Stars lead to 23-20 heading into halftime.
Nine points in the third quarter from
Allison Moore helped the Stars push their lead to 35-27. Stephens didn't let up in the fourth quarter as they outscored HLGU 20-11 to take the win, 55-38.
