Columbia, MO - The Stephens Stars basketball team traveled to St. Louis to take on the Spartans of Missouri Baptist University in their last regular season match. After a solid first quarter, the Stars struggled in the second while the Spartan offense came alive. At the half, the Spartans led 37-17.

Stephens played much better in the third quarter, with seven points coming from Allison Moore and six from Marveen Ross. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Stars still trailed 34-55. The Stars outscored the Spartans in the fourth and final quarter, but it was not enough as they would still fall by a score of 51-70.
