Georgetown, Ky. - The Stephens Basketball team traveled to Georgetown, Ky. to play against NAIA nationally ranked team, Georgetown College (Ky.) and lost 49-75.
In the first half, Lauren Friedrich made a significant contribution by putting the Stars on the board and maintaining an early lead. However, the Tigers managed to pull ahead, and the Stars trailed by 13 points at halftime.
The second half saw a commendable effort from the Stars, with Zaraya March making a crucial 3-pointer to bring the team closer to the Tigers. Despite their hard-fought attempts to close the gap, the Tigers ultimately secured the victory.
