Columbia, Mo. - In a thrilling matchup against Viterbo University (Wis.), the Stars emerged victorious with a commanding 82-55 win.
Aushara Hostetler showcased her talent as she led the Stars with an outstanding 21-point performance. Chu Crockett made a significant impact with 9 rebounds, a key factor in the team's success.
The game kicked off with a successful free throw by Crockett, capitalizing on a foul committed by the V-Hawks. The Stars demonstrated exceptional alertness, maintaining their strong performance and keeping the pressure on the opposition from start to finish.
By halftime, the Stars had established a formidable 18-point lead. Arthel Massaquoi extended the advantage with a well-executed layup, assisted by Lauren Friedrich at the buzzer.
In the second half, Mia Morel continued to impress with her sharpshooting, sinking a clean 3-pointer that added to the excitement and widened the Stars' lead.
