Senior Izzy Benson set a new program record for career service aces and junior transfer Jatnna Pena-Perez recorded her 1,000th collegiate dig, fueling the Stars to their ninth conference win and securing the third seed in the AMC Tournament.
The Stars started strong, with Jamie Russell and Amari Branch-Autman contributing early kills to open a 10-5 lead in the first set.
Benson's record-breaking ace extended the lead, and Branch-Autman, who led the team with a .667 hitting percentage and 13 kills, delivered a powerful finish to close the set 25-15.
Pena-Perez reached her 1,000th dig in the second set, energizing her teammates and the Stephens crowd. Russell hammered down three consecutive kills, pushing the Stars to a commanding 18-10 lead.
