Hannibal, MO – The Stephens College volleyball team earned a commanding 3-0 sweep over Hannibal-LaGrange University on Tuesday night, winning by set scores of 25-14, 25-13, and 25-12.

The Stars controlled the match from start to finish, hitting an impressive .418 as a team while holding the Trojans to a -.131 hitting percentage.

Amari Branch-Autman led the offense with 11 kills on a .846 hitting percentage, while Fernanda Izar added eight kills and a pair of blocks. Lena Hunziker also contributed five kills and three service aces.

Setter Emma Whitson guided the attack with 30 assists and added five digs, while Syerra Mitchell tallied two service aces and four digs. Jatnna Peña Pérez anchored the defense with a team-high 16 digs.

With the win, Stephens improves to 12-9 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
