Columbia, MO - The Stephens College volleyball team continued its strong conference run Tuesday night, sweeping Harris-Stowe State University 25-16, 25-18, 25-17 inside Silverthorne Arena.
The Stars were efficient offensively, hitting .190 as a team while limiting the Hornets to just .030. Lena Hunziker led the charge with 16 kills on a .353 hitting percentage, while Cagla Aslan added 10 kills and Amari Branch-Autman contributed eight. Fernanda Izar added five kills, and setter Emma Whitson directed the attack with 37 assists, two kills, and a block assist.
Stephens also dominated at the service line, totaling seven aces led by Branch-Autman and Hunziker with two each. Defensively, libero Jatnna Peña-Perez anchored the back row with 20 digs, while Lilah Gardner added eight.
