Selection Process and Academic All-Conference Honors
All-Conference teams and awards are determined by coach nominations and voting. Coaches nominate and select the First-Team All-Conference and the individual awards, including the Golden Glove team, by vote on a conference call. The top 10 vote-getters make Second-Team All-Conference, while others receiving votes are named to the Third-Team All-Conference.
The AMC also released its Academic All-Conference honorees. To qualify, student-athletes must have completed two semesters at their AMC institution, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and finish the season on the team. Freshmen in fall sports are ineligible for the award in their first season.
